周鸿祎先生毕业于西安交大管理学院系统工程系，获硕士学位。曾就职方正集团，先后担任事业部总经理、研发中心常务副主任等职。现为奇虎360公司董事长兼CEO。
1998年10月，为了实现“让中国人能用自己的母语上网”的理想，周鸿袆创建3721公司，并于同年推出了3721“网络实名”的前身——中文网址。
2003年，雅虎出资1.2亿美金收购3721公司。2004年3月，周鸿祎出任Yahoo中国区总裁，全面负责雅虎中国公司发展战略的制定及具体执行计划的管理，一年后，雅虎系在华流量全面超越Google中文搜索。
2005年任职期满，周鸿祎离开雅虎中国。2005年下半年，周鸿祎先生以投资合伙人的身份加盟IDG，帮助国内众多的中小企业获得快速发展的机会。其后，周鸿祎先生又陆续投资了迅雷、快播、Discuz！、酷狗、火石、迅游等互联网软件项目，这些项目均在其相应领域取得了领先优势。
2006年3月，周鸿袆投资奇虎360公司，出任董事长兼CEO。在周鸿祎的带领下， 360安全卫士目前已拥有2.5亿用户，覆盖国内超过75%的网民，成为网络安全领域的第一品牌。此外，360旗下还拥有360安全浏览器、360保险箱、360杀毒等系列产品，并坚持对广大网民完全免费。
Mr. Hongyi Zhou graduated from the School of Management Xi’An Jiaotong University and received Master degree in System Engineering. He had worked in Founder Group and successively held the post of General Manager, Standing Deputy Director of R&D Center etc. Now he is the Chairman of Qihoo 360. Mr. Zhou has received numerous awards and prizes, including: China’s Top 10 Management Elite, Chinese Top 100 Manager, 2004 Chinese Top 10 Financial Persons, China IT Person of the Year, Top 10 Angel Investors, 2008 Interent Public-Person etc.
To enable Chinese people to get online in native language Mr. Zhou founded 3721.com in October 1998, a leading Internet search engine and online marketing company with the largest market share in China.
In 2003 the company 3721.com was acquired by Yahoo! for $120M and then in March 2004 Mr. Zhou took up the post of CEO of Yahoo! China and had overall charge of Development strategy and management of concrete implementation plans. One year later, the traffic of www.Yahoo.cn exceeded www.Google.cn.
After the expiration of his engagement in Yahoo!China, Mr. Zhou left his post of CEO of Yahoo!China and in late 2005 joined IDG as Venture Partner to help Chinese SME get opportunities of rapid development.
In March 2006 Mr. Zhou invested Qihoo 360 and took up the post of Chairman. Under the leadership of Mr. Zhou, 360Safe has already 250M internet users up to now, covers more than 70% of internet users in China. It becomes No.1 in Internet Security industry. Furthermore, 360 has a series of products such as 360 secure browser, 360 safe box, 360Antivirus and keep totally free for Internet users.
